    Hagar’s Role and Sarai’s Plan

    In Genesis 16, Sarai finds herself unable to conceive, leading her to offer her maidservant Hagar to Abram with hopes of obtaining a child through her. This decision gives rise to conflict and tension within their household. (Genesis 16:1-2)

    Hagar’s Encounter with the Angel

    Feeling mistreated and overwhelmed by her circumstances, Hagar seeks solace by fleeing into the wilderness. It is in this desolate place that the Angel of the Lord finds her by a spring, providing her with a divine encounter that will profoundly shape her destiny. (Genesis 16:4-6)
